Mesa Verde Horses Available for Adoption
The first band of Mesa Verde Mustangs have completed their training at Mustang Camp, and have been adopted. Check back for further adoptions.
Every one of these horses is exceptionally calm and trusting towards people. They are all larger than most mustangs and correctly proportioned. These are amazing animals.

Arboles is a kindly buckskin mare, mother to Rico. She was estimated to have been born in 2019.

Breen is a colt who will be gelded before adoption. He is calm and eager to work with the humans. He was most likely born early in 2022.

Dolores is a chatty mare who nickers to you as she is trained. She is the mother of Red Mesa. Dolores is estimated to have been born in 2019.

Hermosa is a large buckskin mare. Since her arrival at Mustang Camp, she has been dragging her hind legs at time and will be receiving chiropractic treatment when she is trained. Her age is not known.

Lewis is a young stallion from another band of Mesa Verde mustangs. He will be gelded before adoption. He was born in 2021.

Mancos is a young buckskin mare with a fuzzy dark patch on her right cheek. She was probably born in 2021.

Tiffany is the busy-body of the herd. She can be annoyingly friendly, but willing to do what ever the human wants. She was probably born in 2021.
